Surf City K-8 Elementary School

Hampstead, North Carolina

The project consists of the construction of a new 162,000 square foot K-8 Elementary School located just outside of the Surf City, City Limits. The structure of the building will consist of load bearing CMU, structural steel, masonry veneer, aluminum storefront, louvers, and standing seam metal roofing. The interior finishes will be VCT, carpet, hard tile, metal stud and gypsum board walls, exposed masonry walls, ACT and gypsum board ceilings, casework, etc. Exterior improvements will consist of new athletic facilities, parking areas, off site roadway improvements, pump station, landscaping, irrigation sidewalks and fencing. Systems will include Electrical, Lighting Controls, Communications, Fire Alarm, Security, Cable Tray, Lift Station, Backup Generators, and Utilities Pathways.
